hi,

I have ported and tested two different chipset based usb wifi dongle, and they works well.
hardware:

- zydas zd1211/zd1211b chipset based usb wifi dongle.
- Ralink RT73 chipset based usb wifi dongle.

supported feature:
- Connecting to open networks
- Connecting to WEP networks
- iwconfig parameters supported:essid, mode, key, channel, ap, rate - AP scanning using iwlist tool
...

I ported Ralink rt73 chipset based usb wifi to git tree 2.6.23.
This driver is got from serialmonkey. It's a CVS hourly tarball(CVS-20080626). I tested the driver with the following devices:
ASUS WL-167g (VendorID:0b05, ProductID:1723)
PLANEX GW-US54HP (VendorID:2019, ProductID:ab01)

Serialmonkey Website: http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com

The driver for this two different chipset based USB wifi dongle can be
found on neuros git repo:

Dear all,

Can anyone recommend a USB 802.11 stick for use with the DM355? Google
comes up with things like:
"Texas Instruments Inc. (TI) has selected Atheros Communications Inc.'s
single-chip AR6001GL and AR6001XL Radio-on-Chip for Mobile (ROCm) WLAN
designs to support wireless connectivity with its new TMS320DM355
processor based on DaVinci technology. "

Has anyone used used one of these, if so, which one?

Many thanks for any help,
