Hi,

Can you not simply use 'quilt import' on the patch file ?

You may need to play with the -p option to get the patch level right - see 'man
quilt' and look for the import command for details

Subject: how to apply a patch coming from the mailing-list

Hi,
I'm beginning to use quilt to keep track of my changes to the kernel.
Can any body help me about how to apply a patch coming from the mailing-list?
Cut and paste, or whatelse?
Thanks a lot

Gabriele
