Hi,

I would boot from FLASH - works fine for me.

Follow the instructions in Appendix A.3 of the 'Getting Started Guide' and you
should be able to get the board to boot from FLASH. You may have to restore the
filesystem FLASH partition if it has ever been used from the board being new -
see Appendix A.5 for the procedure.

If it won't work then post the output of 'printenv' in u-boot and the ouptut
from the console during the boot up to the maillist so we can see what is
happening.

Regards

Subject: Standalone boot

Hi all,
I would like to put my EVM (dm355) in a standalone config...(free of a
filesystem on a host computer just near the card)
What is the best solution to do that:
-Boot from SD card ( if yes where could I find a tutorial in order to do it?? )
-Boot from Flash ( I tried but with no success so I try to find other
solutions...)

Thanks for any help
