Hello folks,

We use DM355 and write video to SD cards or USB flash sticks. At the
moment this "just works", but has a good chance of corrupting the
filesystem if cards are removed without proper unmounting.

If anyone has experience, suggestions or links to helpful stuff on the
web about minimising this effect, I'd be interested to see it. I'm sure
this is an issue people have dealt with before.

I don't think it's possible to make it 100% safe to pull out a card or
switch off power at any point from a p.o.v. of filesystem integrity, but
I'm hoping to find a better way than "call sync() repeatedly and cross
fingers"

Thanks.
