Topics to check:

make sure your kernel path in Rules.make is set correctly
make sure you're booting the kernel you built cmem against
do make clean before you build the dvsdk
make sure you do 'make install' after you rebuilt the dvsdk (set the EXEC_DIR
variable in Rules.make)

Cheers,

Niko

Subject: about DVSDK 1.30

 Hi, all

I update my dvsdk to dvsdk 1.30, but there is a error when I run
loadmodules.sh. I have rebuilt the cmemk.ko and the dsplinkk.ko.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/CODEC_server_demo<mailto:[EMAIL
PROTECTED]:~/CODEC_server_demo># ./loadmodules.sh
cmemk: disagrees about version of symbol struct_module
insmod: error inserting 'cmemk.ko': -1 Invalid module format
dsplinkk: no version for "struct_module" found: kernel tainted.
dsplinkk: module license 'DSP/BIOS(TM) LINK' taints kernel.
DSPLINK Module (1.40.05_p1) created on Date: Apr 18 2007 Time: 10:50:05

Regards

dj
