I would like to know how to get the JPEG encoder to work on the DM6467 EVM. I have downloaded the evaluation version of the JPEG encoder for the DM6467 from TI's extranet site. The first thing to note is that even though it is under the DM6467, all configuration scripts are only made for the DM6446 chip. I tried to change the server scripts (.cfg and .tcf) to match the memory layout of the DM6467 (using the files from "video_copy" as an example). The jpegencode server and the application all compile fine, but when I run the application on a 640x480 yuv image, it just hangs without any error messages. Any idea if the JPEGENC is actually meant to work with the DM6467 EVM? Or if not, when it will be available? Thanks. Alex.
