Hi, I think the 'virtuallogix' solution is doing what you want, basically making the DSP look enough like a 'general purpose' processor to get Linux to run. It is sort of like VMWare for DSP. It is almost ceratinly not possible to get Linux to run 'native' on the DSP, if it were it would have been done by now and we would be aware of it....but somebody might know different I suppose.
