Seung, The default amount of memory that the Linux kernel will see on DM644x if it is not limited with the "mem=" boot option is 256MB. If you want to see all 256MB you should just remove the "mem=120M" option from your bootargs. Is this what you are asking for?
P.S. The amount of DDR that the kernel sees is defined in the include/configs/davinci.h file of the u-boot code. Look at the PHYS_SDRAM_1_SIZE variable. Hi all, We are developing IP camera which has DIS(Digital Image Stabilizer) functionality. Main chip set is DM6446. By the way, DIS uses large SDRAM memory at run-time. So, we have to increase SDRAM size from 128 MB to 256 MB. I don't know where to modify u-boot(1.3.x) and kernel(2.6.10). Can you help me? Best Regards, Seung Youl.
