Seung,

The default amount of memory that the Linux kernel will see on DM644x if it is
not limited with the "mem=" boot option is 256MB. If you want to see all 256MB
you should just remove the "mem=120M" option from your bootargs. Is this what
you are asking for?

P.S. The amount of DDR that the kernel sees is defined in the
include/configs/davinci.h file of the u-boot code. Look at the
PHYS_SDRAM_1_SIZE variable.

Sincerely,
Chase Maupin

Subject: Where to modify bootloader and kernel to increase SDRAM size from
128MB to 256 MB?

Hi all,

We are developing IP camera which has DIS(Digital Image Stabilizer)
functionality. Main chip set is DM6446.

By the way, DIS uses large SDRAM memory at run-time. So, we have to increase
SDRAM size from 128 MB to 256 MB.

I don't know where to modify u-boot(1.3.x) and kernel(2.6.10). Can you help me?

Best Regards,

Seung Youl.
