Our design group is planning on using multiple AIC97 codecs connected to a
DM6446 to drive a speaker array (8+ speakers).
Currently:
We have ALSA running on the TI SDK.
We don't have our hardware done yet so I only have one codec to test with.
Questions:
I was curious whether anyone has multiple codecs running on any of there
designs.
If you do, what audio format are you using?
Also, do the TDM functionality in ALSA work? and in what audio formats?
By audio format, I mean I2C, PCM or AC97.
