The original question focused on the "Server Integrator" role.  Critical 
input(s) for that role are the codec packages, which I don't think the DVSDK 
product redistributes(?).  But I found this FAQ for getting eval codecs:

What you are missing is some .l64p,maybe! For codecs, most are released with 
.l64p format. Last year when I teach at a small course, I introduced codec 
server building in shanghai.
We demoed with H264Enc and Dec in 1 .x64p.
Frankly the document tell how to act as the four roles to develop davinci 
applications is in the folder DVSDK.
Is this what you want.
