After the update to v2.6.28-rc3, I rebased the dm646x and dm355 patches and my rework patches on top. There is now a new staging branch named 'ti/staging-2' which is rooted at the v2.6.28-rc3 update.
Something new to this staging branch is the ability to build a single kernel binary that boots on dm6446, dm646x and dm355. I've successfully booted the same binary on all 3 EVMs with this branch. The chip selection in Kconfig lets you pick one or many processors or boards to support. If you want to reproduce, start from the default dm6446 defconfig, and then simply enable support for dm646x and dm355 chips and the availble boards for those chips will show up. Select the boards as well and compile.
