Kevin, With Current HEAD of DaVinci git I am unable to compile the kernel. The problem is with the recently pushed IRAM alloc/free patch.
The third HUNK in the IRAM patch has not been applied. After making necessary modifications it was compiled successfully. I played a song recorded at sample rate of 48KHZ with aplay utility by giving the following options aplay -r 48000 -c 2 -f S16_LE <filename> and it is playing properly. If the same audio file is played with -f cd option (sets sample rate to 44100) I observed that audio is playing slowly Regards Naresh ________________________________________ From: Kevin Hilman [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, November 08, 2008 6:51 AM To: Medisetty, Naresh Cc: [email protected] Subject: DM6446: audio slowness on 2.6.28-rc3 Naresh, Since you posted the audio patches, I'm hoping you might be able to test audio on the current HEAD of DaVinci git. On DM6446, audio playback works but is very slow. As a quick guess, it sounds like it's about half speed. I haven't debugged this further, but was hoping you might be able to take a look.
