Didn't configure one for this board yet ... being able to talk on the network was an important precursor! :) > I'm getting: > > IP-Config: Unable to set interface netmask (-22). > Looking up port of RPC 100003/2 on 192.168.100.10 > Looking up port of RPC 100005/1 on 192.168.100.10 > VFS: Mounted root (nfs filesystem). > Freeing init memory: 120K > ------------[ cut here ]------------ > WARNING: at net/sched/sch_generic.c:226 dev_watchdog+0x194/0x2a8() > NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0 (dm9000): transmit timed out > ... > ---[ end trace 2d4adf8bc3de15cd ]--- > > looks like the driver is broken Could be; I've only used the dm9000 for light traffic so far. If that driver has problems (which I could believe), they're somewhat orthogonal to the basic ability to talk to the chip and get it to send/receive packets. By the way, the dm9000a (on this board) doesn't need the external MII stuff. Maybe toggling the Kconfig option for lighter weight link monitoring would help. - Dave _______________________________________________ Davinci-linux-open-source mailing list [email protected] http://linux.davincidsp.com/mailman/listinfo/davinci-linux-open-source
