I've been developing a motion jpeg demo, on the DVEVM 6446, that takes
video from the composite source and converts it into mjpeg frames that
are output over the Ethernet port. After much struggling I've got this
working to my satisfaction and everything is great.

But I would like to switch from using the composite RCA video input and
now use the s-video input. When I do this I just get a black input. I
think this is because I haven't switched the TVP5146 to now use the
s-video input or something. Is there some iotcl command or setting I
need to enable?

When I run the encodedecode demo from the command line with the '-x'
parameter it successfully uses the s-video input so I know its possible.

Any assistance would be much appreciated,

Alex
