Hi Brijesh,

I am working on DM6446 processor trying to capture video from a CMOS sensor. Presently, I am able to capture 1 Meg pixel XGA (1024x768) @ 15fps. The pixel clock value at this configuration is 28 Mhz (coming from sensor to VPFE).

I want to capture video at 30 fps. For that i have configured the sensor accordingly. Thus for 30 fps, the sensor generates 57 Mhz clock value. But when i try to capture the video, i am not able to get proper video frames, instead, i see green distorted frames. I tried to increase diver buffer counts, but that proved of no help. Having same VPFE settings at low fps gives proper video.

Can you ponder on what might be the problem?

It is mentioned that VPFE can suppport clock value upto 75 Mhz. Do i also need to configure VPFE such that it works properly at higher pclk values? If yes then, can you please let me know what all things are to be done?

Thanks in advance,
Mayank
