Dear TI Davinci developers,
I am working on Linux based systems for a while. DM355 is very capable DSP for our Project. I have some questions about Framebuffers on DM355. The first question is, I want to use different TFTs ,every TFT has different resolution ,size and colour depth. Do I have to arrange a different kernel Image for each TFT? I want to learn framebuffer system on DM355, ofcourse I have read some pdfs, but they was not very usefull. Can you suggest me some Information sources on web? I have read Starting guide of DM355 and there some set parameters like , video=davincifb:vid0=720x576x16,2500K:...etc , If I change that parameters at bootargs, may I use different TFTs with one kernel? Can you tell me what are the TFT (VSBE) drivers on kernel. There are dm355fb.c, davinci_fb.c .. There are many .c files and .h files , How do I know which files are related to screen driver?
