For what it's worth, it's about 8-16 hours to port the relevant bits from C6455 CSL to function on DM6446 C64x+; after you figure out the compilation environment, it's a series of #defines to map to your hardware. >From there, building a library of routines that invoke the CSL to do the handful of operations you want is straight forward.
