For what it's worth, it's about 8-16 hours to port the relevant bits
from C6455 CSL to function on DM6446 C64x+; after you figure out the
compilation environment, it's a series of #defines to map to your hardware.

>From there, building a library of routines that invoke the CSL
to do the handful of operations you want is straight forward.
Going this route, you obviously need to become intimately familiar
with the EDMA3, but that shouldn't be a problem with some
driver background.
