You are a little late, I'm already beaten up to death by the vpfe code :) Unfortunately, all you said is correct and your last sentence is the overview of my whole weekend. After two days of meaningless porting efforts I realized it was not for the weekend player. Later, I found Kevin's staging tree and I'm using it at the moment.
