I'm working on adding support for a DaVinci-like ARM SoC from TI
called the DM830 (aka OMAP L137).

It is not a DaVinci but close enough that we're trying to enable one
common davinci kernel to work on this this SoC as well.
One of the differences between the DA830 and a true DaVinci is
PHYS_OFFSET. So, this brings me to your patch for a runtime-determined
PHYS_OFFSET value that google found for me. I see that it is not in the
kernel but I can't seem to find much conversation about it.
What is the status of that patch?
Do you have any further plans to get it into the kernel?
