If you tune your build settings to get a particular codec library built out of your optimized codec source code and use that library to build a codec server binary (Codec + Codec Engine + Required Components from the DVSDK SW stack) which will run on the DSP, the tuned build settings' effect should automatically be effective.
There are certain other build options that can be set while building the codec server with your optimized codec library though. http://rtsc.eclipse.org/cdoc-tip/index.html#xdc/bld/PackageContents.html#add.Executable http://tiexpressdsp.com/index.php/Codec_Engine_FAQ#How_do_I_add_compile_options_when_building_the_example_applications.3F Information on Codec Engine: http://tiexpressdsp.com/index.php/Quickly_Getting_Started_on_TI_Codec_Engine http://tiexpressdsp.com/index.php/Codec_Engine_Overview Regards, Prem Texas Instruments India ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Vinayagam Mariappan Sent: Friday, May 29, 2009 6:51 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Compiler setting of CCS inside codec engine for DM6446 I am working with optimization of JPEG and MPEG encoder. In CCS studio i am making the compiler setting as Opt Level: File (o 3) Opt Speed Vs Size: Speed Most critical Program Level Opt: No External Var Ref.(=pm =op3) Enabling Macros I want to do the same setting for my codec which is residing inside codec engine for DM6446.
