Jean_Philippe,

The reason for the DM365 serial flashing tools not being available at
this point of time is because the serial flashing tools are designed
in such a way that assumes the RBL to set the baud rate to 115200.

There is a bug in the RBL which sets it to 16/13 times of 115200.

Does this mean this version of the chip will never be bootable from
scratch from the serial port ?
Is there a documentation on how to boot from the sd card ?
[Sandeep] We do not have any utilities at the moment to boot of SD card.
Is there a way to reflash the card that does not include jtag ?
[Sandeep] What do you want to reflash UBl or U-boot?

I want to reflash u-boot, but should this go wrong (ie not working u-boot) talking either to the RBL or to the UBL would be necessary.

Thanks,
Jean-Philippe François

Thanks,
Sandeep

Subject: dm365 serial flashing tools ?

Hi,

I would like to modify and reflash u-boot on DM365.

There is a sourceforge project [1] for the serial flashing tools for
various davinci processor, but not for dm365.

The dvevm PSP contains a tar.gz archive named flash_utils, but in the
top level makefile, the dm36x is commented out.

Is there a tool somewhere to reflash u-boot and the ubl from the
serial
port ?

Thank you,
Jean-Philippe François
