I think I understand your question now. You are asking about using CONFIG_MTD_CONCAT from kernel config. I have never used it. I'll probably start by trying 1, Enable CONFIG_MTD_CONCAT 2. Built CONFIG_MTD_PHYSMAP in the kernel 3. Boot the kernel and see what happens. Perhaps, other on the list have tried it and can provide better suggestions. Also, I have seem poor performance numbers for YAFFS2 (and especially JFFS2) on larger NAND partitions. Just something to be aware of....
