Thanks for all of the feed back. Turns out, our board has the SPI DOUT-DIN reversed so I cannot use the Davinci SPI module and have to use a bit-bang driver. I am close to having the driver working. I can now see the output bits for configuring device register select the on the scope when I do the read. I now just need to add the read bit and it should be working.
