Thanks for your reply. I have tried as you mentioned below.
1. I have booted kernel in Runlevel-5
2. added gtk-demo in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
But here xinitrc is not running as a bootscript. I have also tried from
command line still I am getting same issue (*"(gtk-demo:1258): Gtk-WARNING
**: cannot open display*:") and tried to run the "startx" then I got the
error messages as mentioned in the attached log
