Hello All,

I have the following question.

After powering up Davinci chip, if NAND Flash is selected, RBL seems to
send the two commands RESET/READID to NAND Flash Back to back. If NAND
device has a READY/~BUSY pin, can the READID command be delayed by
connecting the Ready/~Busy pin of NAND to EM_WAIT pin?

My reason for asking is, I ran in some problems using the Micron
MT29F2G08ABD (2 Gbit), After the RESET, NAND device goes busy
(READY/~BUSY = 0) and takes longer to go Ready (READY/~BUSY = 1). The
READID command is issued before the NAND becomes READY, and therefore
the Manufacture/device IDs are not read correctly. The device has to be
Ready before a READID command is issued. In turn, since the Device ID is
not read correctly, booting from NAND fails.
