We are working on ubl booting from spi flash and booting u-boot from
1-bit ecc 16-bit nand flash.
We start the custimization from
http://www.linux-davinci.info/data/boot/dm3xx_sd_boot-6.1.tgz .
We can copy the ubl itself to the IRAM and then run it.
We have written the u-boot to nand using the u-boot (compiled using
r26 version inside arago) starting from SD-card.
Then ubl sees the spare bytes != 0xFF and so it doesn't find any valid
u-boot image.
(u-boot is placed at the beginning of nand flash with its header ...
recreated by us).
Any info?
We'd like more official ubl sources in order to integrate it in our
compilation setup that is Ubuntu Linux.
So we need to understand if CCS is really needed or not.
We prefer not to use CCS, becaude we want a complete setup on Linux.

thx
recalcati,
