VLYNQ was tested on DM6446 EVM in one of the earlier 2.6.10 based MontaVista kernels, but I am not aware of anyone getting this to work with recent kernels. In the recent kernels, there is a VLYNQ driver present in drivers/vlynq/* which caters to the same IP from TI, but has only been tested on TI's AR7 chip. The best way forward would be to start with trying to use this driver. You can look at AR7 code for an example of how this has been used.
