My problem is that the I can connect to an access point with WIFI but
after requesting an IP address from the DHCP server I get disconnected.
I get also disconnected if I use a static IP and try to download a file
or do something else. Afterwards, wpa_supplicant is not able to find an
access point.
I get the message from syslog (logread):
"No probe response from AP 00:22:3f:7e:31:f2 after 500ms, disconnecting."
Best regards,
Andreas

Hi,
I also encounter a WIFI USB issue. What sort of issue are you
encountering ?
On my side, I download a large file from WIFI to a MSC device and after
a while, the MSC is disconnected... Indeed I encounter a STALL or a
ERROR in either TXCSR or RXCSR...
I'm still digging to understand what exactly happen.
When I download from WIFI and put the result into /dev/null and read the
MSC in the mean while, I do not encounter any problem. It seems that the
problem comes from TX/RX multiplexing with different timing or buffer
size...
Best regards
Stephane

Subject: Re: UVC webcam problem
Right now, I tried to use the USB driver (the musb folder) from the
arago kernel. With this driver I can capture the video from the webcam.
So, something important must be different!
BUT, as I already mentioned I had a problem with "USB WLAN sticks" when
I use the arago kernel. And this is also the case if I use the USB
driver from the arago 2.6.32 kernel with the khilman 2.6.34 kernel.
But I need to use USB WLAN devices together with USB webcams. Maybe
someone could help me to get this running!
One thing a forgot to mentionabout the used hardware is that I have a
USB hub IC (ISP1521) between my USB devices and the USB host interface
of the Davinci processor. Maybe this hub chip makes also some problems.
Thanks for your help so far,
Andreas
PS: I also tried to adjust the FIFO buffers but this was not the
solution.
PPS: Maye, I should write a new post for the WLAN problem!?

Andreas,
Pl. ensure that the FIFO is configured correctly. Probably this error
could mean you need a 1024 byte fifo space and it is not available. If
so increase the fifo space in musb_core.c file.

Swami

Hi,
I'm trying to get a UVC webcam working with the latest khilman
kernel
(2.6.34) on a Davinci EVM like board with DM6446 processor.
I'm able to request the buffers and queue them without errors. But
if I
switch on the streaming the UVC driver tells me:
"uvcvideo: USB isochronous frame lost (-18)."
Some time ago, I tried the 2.6.32 kernel from the arago project and
webcam
capturing was working out of the box but WLAN was not working. (so,
I
switched to the khilman kernel).
Maybe, someone can help me with the uvc webcam problem!!!
with our tests the DM6446 only supported up to around 4.5 mbyte of
isochronous data...
Raw Analog TV 720x576x25 requires around 170 mbit, I guess webcams
are
near to that level there's no chance to get such a thing work.
Maybe MJPEG or MPEG based devices can work with it.
Thanks for your reply. I have a Logitech QuickCam Communicate Deluxe
with MJPEG format. And this webcam is working with the 2.6.32 kernel
from the arago project. So, I think this cam should be working.
Does anyone know what's the above "status code" -18 means??
Thanks,
Andreas
