Hello Mr.Zhang

I am dealing with a similar application scenario with you.
Our ITE HDMI Rx will feed I2S stereo audio data and master wclk and bclk to
the McAsp2 of DM8148.
By default, McAsp is worling on DSP_B mode, which will consider every bit
clocked by bclk as validated data , however HDMI will output standard I2S
data, which will insert a extra frame sync bit before MSB of left and right
channel data. Hence, the captured audio data get corrupted.

I am assuming you also met this issue, and could you please share with me
how did you modify davinic-mcasp.c driver to let mcasp can accept true I2S
data?

Really appreciate your help in advance.

Regards,

Jun Zhang
