clamav is running as:
uid=114(clamav) gid=114(clamav) groups=114(clamav)
The example program failed when run as root with:
crw------- 1 clamav root 254, 0 2006-02-12 15:54 /dev/dazuko
and
crw------- 1 root root 254, 0 2006-02-12 15:54 /dev/dazuko
