Yip thats a possible problem what i have done is simply make it compile
and boot with the new kernel i have not looked into the nuts and bolts
of it all to deep.
the folk here know the plumbing better than i do.ill see if i can work
on it.

how do you want to get file name since the nameidata argument is
missing? I can not see any changes related to getting file name in
