we have a lot of rpsl-based toolchains out there.  this does not mean
we should not work on next gen.  but, while we do so, keep up the old.

appreciate job moving this forward in the ripe db community.  i doubt
anyone likes the remarks: hack.  but it (or its kin) works today across
all regions.  e.g. see what massimo has done with it,
