We do not micromanage the NCC. We trust them to come up with reasonable
decisions for day-to-day business.
Sometimes we disagree on what "reasonable" might have been, but then we
talk, in (ahem) reasonable terms, and try to bring across our point in
friendly and polite form.
Your style of discussion leaves room for improvement.
