The DB team have now completed notifying affected maintainers and removed all inactive passwords from the RIPE database. We now plan to notify the remaining approximately 1,863 maintainers with *actively* used MD5-PW passwords today that we have deprecated passwords and asking them to switch to an alternative before the end of 2025. We will send further reminders later this year, and report on progress at RIPE91 in October.
