Chris,
Tempspaces are used in round-robbin sequence, so if
you have two tempspaces, DB2 would alternate between the two of them. To
achieve parallel I/O, a tempspace should have multiple containers, and ideally
these containers should be on different disks. You should use only one
tempspace if possible.
