There was a problem with the Fixpack 2 when it first went out. The problem
was a Rollforward Recovery issue. Perhaps you have the "bad" fixpack??

Subject: DB2EUG: Roll Forward gets SQL1024

Hi,

We are on UDB v7.1fp2 / NT 4 sp5.

Has anybody seen this and hopefully explain why

We are running a standby machine in recovery pending mode, logs are
shipped from an active machine via connect direct and after each log
successfully arrives a .bat file runs the following:

db2 rollforward to end of logs
     exit

We can see the CLP window appear, the command completes successfully and
the window closes. However the NT Event viewer has trapped a DB2 warning,
looking in the db2dia.log we can see an -1024 (SQL1024 db connection does
not exist) with a timestamp that matches the time the rollforward
completes (?). Everything else seems ok, we have tried using 'db2cmd -c' ,
same results.

Before I report it to IBM, has anyone seen this before and what can I do
about it ?

Thanks
