Anil,
If you are looking at a UDB change management tool (only), you should look
at BMC Software's "Patrol: Change Manager". It seems to be the most robust
change management tool that I've seen on the market. If you're looking at
performance monitoring tools, you can look at the Database Guys suite of
tools, they have some really nice products. If you're looking for a
complete integrated toolset that covers both change management and
performance monitoring, look at Quest Software's "Quest Central" suite of
tools. Individually, the various components of their suite may not
necessarily be the best of breed, but for a complete integrated suite of
tools it's pretty nice.

Hi All !
In my project, we do not have tool to assist in the dba admin functions. We
are looking for some UDB admin tools (UDB 6.1 fix pack 6 on AIX).
Any recommendations ? Any lessons learned type stories ?
thanks in advance.
Anil
