Hi,
I hope someone can shed some light on
this:
The /3gb option allows an NT server to utilise more
than the 2gb memory limit (if available and if on 4.0 SP3 or above - Enterprise
version) - see MS note Q171739 for further details
- Does anyone have experience of specifying the
/3gb option in the boot.ini file and any hints or tips on its use
?
- Can DB2 udb v7.1 take advantage of it, do you
need to specify anything in DB2 ?
- How do you confirm if the Server is using it
?
I have found MS sites just tell you how to
specify it and not much else...
Thanks
