We have been awarded a project to provide DBA support to a major Phoenix client. We have 3-4 positions still open for DB2 and UDB DBAs with at least 2 years DBA experience in DB2/mainframe or UDB/Unix environments. Here is a list of the primary responsibilities of those who will be part of this project: *DBMS software installation and maintenance *Definition of STD infrastructure *Provide common database maintenance scripts *Manage database placement on shared machines *Server consolidation strategy *Disk management *Scheduled software installation and release levels *Determine technology solutions (HA, EMC, VCS, Patrol, etc.) *General 2nd level problem support The group will consist of 15-22 DBAs representing several databases.
