Log files are always closed when the database is either disconnected and/or
deactivated.
Seems to me that a) You have not issued any activate db command andb) all of
your connections have issued a connect reset.
No connections, close all files, free resources and close the db2 application.
Therefore your log file gets closed and "chopped" at that point.
