I'm on a wintel platform running Control Center in UDB V7.2. This same problem occurred with V7.1. When I open an instance, I get a DBA4090 error, stating the connection to the JDBC Server has ended abnormally. Retrying the operation as suggested results in the same error. The message says to take a trace of the JDBC server. How do I do that? Or are there other suggestions about how to fix this? BTW, I am connecting to UDB 7.1 on an AIX box. If I click on the error message button that says CLOSE, I can continue with the connection. Everything seems to work fine. I'd just like to understand this error message and fix it.
