Thanks Scott & Philip, the problem was we had the userid defined at the
Local and at the domain with different password OOOOpsss.

Take a look at the DB2_GRP_LOOKUP variable.  It defines to UDB where group
authorizations are authenticated (i.e. the local domain or some other).
