Hi Ed:
The db2sysc process [ Process ID 3754 ] which is attached to the instance
had errors in stopping meaning that there has been an ERROR in the Operating
System calls ( like opening and closing files ). The function that error'd
is sqlOrque. The 4th letter "O" in the function name sqlOrque stands for the
type of activity that caused the error.
2055 is a SQL error code:
SQL2055N Unable to access memory from memory set "<memory-heap>".
Explanation: A database utility was unable to access memory during
processing. The utility stops processing.
User Response: Stop the database manager, then restart it and resubmit the
utility command.
That's all I can make out from the db2diag.log message.
Should you get this error again, run a db2trc (trace) before you start the
instance and stop the trace after you stop the instance. There is a utility
which can format the db2trc output. I believe the dump file has to be sent
to IBM for support.
