Hi List

I'd be grateful for some advice.

I have a DB2 UDB for Solaris server running V6.1 with DB2 Connect V7.1
also installed. I have a requirement to install a new instance onto the
same machine running V6.1 with a particular FixPak applied. The FixPak
must not impact the existing instance.

Do I first need to install a second copy of the V6.1 base code and
create an instance, and then apply the FixPak? Also, will the fact that
DB2 Connect V7.1 is also installed cause me any problems? The Readme
file is not specific enough for these circumstances.

Any advice gratefully received.

Dave Hayes
