Hello all,
I have installed the Administration client on my Dell C600 Pentium III notebook
(256 MG RAM/20 GB hard drive), with Windows 2000 (5.00.2195 Service pack 1).
There is not a DB2 CD with software that specifically says it is for Windows
2000, but DB2 Support has assured me that the NT version will work. I have
problems with it freezing up my PC every time I use it. It comes up OK (albeit
very slow), but if I have to minimize it or switch to another session, it will
not come back and I have to user Task Manager to end the Admin session.
Has anyone experienced these problems? I would appreciate any and all feedback
on how other folks have made the DB2 Admin client GUI work on Windows 2000! I
would very much like to be utilizing these tools, but they are of no use to me
as it stands.
