We're running DB2 UDB V7.1 w/ Fixpak 5 (technically making us V7.2) on an
RS/6000 running AIX 4.3.3

This afternoon I noticed a file named jdbcerr.log in our sqllib/db2dump
directory. When I took a look at the file, I found the following nothing else
was in the file):

(Thu May 23 15:57:03 2002) pid= 44380 main(): Server is starting up on default
port, einfo= 6789 (client IP = )

I checked for a pid of 44380 & it is associated with db2jd. As far as I can
tell, things are working fine on the server & with DB2. The db2diag.log doesn't
have any messages relating to this message - the db2diag.log was last written
to the day before the jdbcerr.log file was created.

Any ideas what this message means and / or actions that are required? The
message was found on our DB2 server (vs. a client box).

Thanks for your time & assistance.

Marshall
