Actually, I've been running DB2 on Redhat since the 6.0 beta release,
and have found the combination to be flawless. (although it was a bit
rough in the beginning) Since I only run Redhat on all my servers,
and know nothing about Mandrake, it's not really an option for me.
Since my original mail, I did some more digging on the IBM DB2 site,
and it looks like DB2 7.2 is not supported on Redhat 8.0.
I guess it's on to "plan B"...
