Hi,

Type the command ' db2level ' at the command prompt.

Here is how to interpret this information:

= DB2 (This is the unique name of the current DB2
instance)
= SQL05020 (This indicates a release number of 05,
version number of 02 and 
module number of 0)
= 02070103 (This is a DB2 version number for internal
use o nly)
= DB2 v5.2.0.30 (This indicates that the instance
version and release levels)
= c990717 (This is the build level of the code You can
use this and the PTF 
level to determine your FixPak level.)
= WR2119 (This is the PTF level of the code. You can
use this and the build 
level to determine your FixPak level.)
Note: The db2level executable should not be copied
from one machine to another.
