The April  meeting will be held at the Cerritos Sheraton.
This a full day meeting with breakfast and lunch served.
Quest Software will be hosting the meeting.
This is a summary of the meeting presentations.

SQL Processing at the Speed of Light

SQL Processing at the Speed of Light describes how DB2 processes SQL focusing on the DB2 compiler, optimizer, and the DB2
engine in conjunction with the various factors that influence that processing.  Well be exploring factors such as memory, CPU,
indexing, concurrency and many others that determine how a SQL statement is processed and how you can influence those factors
to your benefit.
Lastly, we will put these factors to the test by analyzing real test cases and how a standard SQL statement will perform when these
factors are adjusted.

Discovering Quest Central for DB2 UDB

This presentation will demonstrate why Quest Central is #1 when it comes to problem resolution.  By presenting common
performance issues that most DB2/UDB customers suffer, we will utilize Quest Central to solve those common performance issues
giving you a hands on problem resolution session so you can learn how to solve these problems in your environment.

Discovering Quest Central for DB2 OS/390 and z/OS

Quest Central for DB2 provides a revolutionary new approach for managing mainframe DB2 databases.  By tightly integrating
database administration, SQL tuning, space management, and performance monitoring into Quest Centrals sophisticated GUI
interface, todays overburdened DBA will experience dramatic productivity gains compared to using the more common ISPF
interfaces of other products.
Quest Central is even more beneficial to the DBA who has to manage DB2 on multiple platforms because now they have a common
tool for all DB2 environments.
