We are receiving this error occasionally from a report server connecting to a UDB database (v7.2 fixpack 8) on Windows. It happens intermittently and it's been happening for a while. It's not like it just started with a new fixpack applied. It happens more frequently when the load on the report server is heavy. DIA3202C The TCP/IP call "connect" returned an errno="10048". As far as I can tell, the application will eventually connect successfully. I don't have to reset or restart anything to make it work. I've searched on google for TCP/IP errors and the only thing I can find referring to 10048 has to do with the "socket or port is already in use". Any ideas on what is causing this?
